Hi! My name is Jenalin Steinberger and I teach First Grade at  Double Peak School. This is an exciting year for me as I am starting my 17th year of teaching! I began my elementary teaching career in Calabasas, Ca as a 1st grade teacher as well as 2 years as a Reading Interventionist. After moving back to the beautiful island of Kaua'i, I taught both Kindergarten and 1st Grade for 8 years. This is my 6th year teaching at Double Peak School and I am excited to be back teaching in 1st Grade! 
My family and I live in North County and you can find us mostly at the beach surfing on the weekends, at little league baseball games cheering on my son, and soccer games cheering on my daughter! I have a son, Dax, who is a 1st grader here at DPS as well as a daughter, Finnley,  who is an 8th grader ALSO here at DPS. 
I am eager to partner with my families during this SPECIAL journey we are about to embark on together.
