My name is Mrs. Shadrick.  This will be my 25th year as an elementary school teacher.  I have taught mostly second grade, a 2nd/3rd combo, and have also job shared in kindergarten.   I'm very happy to be your child's teacher here, at Double Peak.  

I'm a native to San Marcos.  I went to Richland, San Marcos Middle School, San Marcos High School and then earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a minor in Spanish at CSUSM.  I'm thankful to be working in San Marcos School District.

Teaching has always been a passion of mine.  I think kids are great! They are creative, curious, and fun to be around.  Watching my students learn and grow each year is rewarding. My goal for this new school year is to work with you and to help your child find his/her strengths and feel successful in school.
